The Lounge bar is a comfortable place to be and is used by students during open mic nights, acoustic nights and the weekly movie night. With its comfortable sofas, large projector and screen you won't miss out on the latest films rugby and football matches; and its well stocked bar with a great choice of drinks and friendly staff mean that nights in here will make for some of your best memories. There's pool for those who like a nice quiet game, unless you're the competitive sort, and a juke box to set the ambience and give you a chilled night away from those assignments. Within the lounge bar is the bar office where the Night Steward, Ellie Pohl and Bar Manager, Barry Watkins work but they're always willing to come out and have a chat.

MAIN BAR

The place to be on a Wednesday night, with its party atmosphere all students at Harper enjoy the Main Bar whether it be for a themed Wednesday night (e.g. cartoon character night, 'Jungle Book', etc) or the comedy nights where you can have a drink and a laugh with friends. There's a  long and well-stocked bar to get those drinks served quickly, extensive lighting for those songs that require a bit of strobe, and the DJ booth where our resident DJ resides playing all the latest tunes. There's also a large dancefloor where you can shake your booty and remember... a bit of grandad dancing never goes amiss. Even the bouncers are willing to have a laugh and a chat. The nights in the main bar are always memorable and bring you some of your most extreme and fun nights here at Harper.
