Information for international students

   

International students can take part in a cycling proficiency course which enables them to rent bicycles from the council. These can be used throughout term to get into Newport town (only a short ride from the University) as well as getting to lectures.

 

Every wednesday students are able to get together to take part in various activities. These can take place at the University, in the local town or even further afield. This is a great chance to meet new people, have a laugh and sometimes learn something new.

   

This was a diving course made available to the students at the local swimming pool. The course cost around £8 including tuition and 1 hour spent in the pool. Certificates were given to those who took part.

 

  

Students are able to get together to prepare decorations for halloween. You can get together to perfect the art of pumpkin carving.

 

  

Students were able to spend their free time in the run up to christmas decorating cake. The cakes were bought ready made and were decorated from scratch with some amazing results.
