Harper Adams Students' Union's annual bonfire and firework celebrations were held on Sunday 2nd November and attracted a large crowd of spectators from not only the student population but also the local community.
The fire was built, and the evening run, by the Harper Adams Off-road Club and what a fire it was! Thanks to local businesses, the team were able to collect a large amount of waste wood which helped them construct a huge bonfire to keep the onlookers warm whilst they enjoyed a fantastic firework display by the very professional, Shockwave Pyrotechnics. The fire took about three days to build and by the end of the evening it was reduced to a rather large pile of glowing embers.
Harper Off-road Club and the Students' Union would like to take this opportunity to thank the following companies for their help and support:
-
R & D Lifting Supplies
-
Mere Park
-
Wyevale Garden Centre
-
TFM
And of course to all of you that attended. We hope that you had a great time and we look forward to seeing you next year.
