Jessica ‘Ke$ha’ Archer (RAG Secretary)
Oh hey! I’m Jess (a.k.a Ke$ha) and am currently Harpers RAG sexetary. I deal with all the paperwork and help with lots of fundraising events! Miles, Lizzie and I are all as keen as each other to raise as much money as we can for the charities that make a difference such as RABI. We all have different roles within the team e.g. Miles’ main input is generally getting naked for your schrapnel!!
We’re organising A LOT of awesome events which will be amazing fun and will help us reach our optimistic target sum of £20,000! I can’t wait to really push the boat out and create a memorable RAG year!
You will see us on the shot bar and BBQ most Wednesday nights making sure everyone is as intoxicated as they should be (especially with our recent investment into chilli flavoured sambucca!!).. Although I am known to be a little lairy when drunk, I think this encourages the charitable Harper student to give a little more.. So I look forward to meeting all you freshers and please give as much as you can for our worthy cause!!

Lizzie Spray – RAG Treasurer
Hola!! I’m Lizzie, also known as Lizzard!
From my recent trip to Wales I slayed about 9 dragons and sold their parts for charity. Getting on the RAG team has been one of the highlights of my first year at Harper! Working as a team and making sure we get along is key to RAG; so living with Miles and Jess in Ward has meant that I’ve got to know them both very well. As your new RAG Treas I’m here to make sure that your precious, limited, student money is spent well on awesome RAG events and that we donate as much as we can to lots of well deserving charities!! When I’m not working hard on the Wednesday night shot bar and BBQ I’m out partying with the rest of you animals and sipping on my fave bevvy, the Jager Bomb!
This year we have elected a flock of 8 willing lambs for a RAG committee to help us organise BIGGER and better events, so I’ll hand over to them, Adios Amigos!!
Jake Cooper – Head Chef
Hey I’m Jake, I am the head chef for RAG, after being a butcher for the last 5 years I am more than capable of working with meat (no pun intended) I will be there most Wednesday nights making sure you get your midnight snack after a brilliant night in the bar, all the profits from the BBQ go to help the charities we support. So come along and let me put my sausage in your baps.
Sarah Goddard – Bar Lady
Hi, I’m Sarah, I'm a REALMie from Dorset. I am the new RAG bar lady, I wanted this position mainly because I like my alcohol (as you will know/discover), I also like to get other people very drunk. I enjoy going out most nights of the week, and have never missed a Wednesday night in the bar! I'm always up for a laugh, and if this involves raising money for RAG then that's even better! What better way to raise money for charity than to get exceptionally pissed, so please come and see me on the shot bar!
Emma Davies – Publicity Officer
Hey, I’m Emma I come from Abergavenny, South Wales (Gods country). I’m one of the publicity officers for RAG 2011/2012. I will be putting my creativity to the test and thinking of new ways to publicise all the crazy events that RAG will be putting on for you over the year. I love to get stuck in with everything and cannot wait to get RAGing with everyone!
Emily Warin – Publicity Officer
Hey, I’m Emily and am one of the publicity officers for RAG, so you will see me putting up posters and pestering you to come along to the amazing times that RAG organise. I will do anything to publicise events, even more so after a couple of drinks... I come from the mighty county that is Yorkshire and so as well as developing a stupid accent according to fellow flat mates, I have also developed a key life skill that is getting people to give for the greater cause.
Sophie-Jade Bacon – Press Officer
I’m a REALM student who has got involved with as much as possible at Harper, including being part of the shooting team and exec and of course RAG, which has allowed me to get involved with different events and activities in and around Harper. My role within the RAG committee is the Press officer and I aim to get the RAG news out and draw as much attention to it as possible. This year, RAG has got a strong team and I look forwards to working with them throughout the year, aiming to raise as much money as possible and all for a good cause!
Tom Price – Sex Pest
I'm Tomo and I'm your resident Sex Pest at Harper, I'm from Doncaster (YorkshireLAD) and studying Off Road Vehicle Design. When I'm not in the workshops I can be found sharking some poor unsuspecting females. I'm always up for lots of banter and can't get enough of having a drunken dance in the bar, especially in fancy dress on a Wednesday night! I help the RAG team out with their general antics and organizing as well as using my charm to convince everyone to give a bit more to charity.

Alvin Wilkinson - Bushwhacker
Hi guys I'm Al - studying Rural Property Management and from North Wales. I'm mad for the gym, a spot of hunting a game of rugby now and then and I’m all for the pigeon burgers!! I was chosen for the RAG position of Bushwhacker as a result of my antics over the past year, although I choose not to drink very often, when I do... It's a hell of a sight, and not to be missed. I'll be helping the RAG team with general fund raising duties, as well as making an arse of myself in front of as many of you as possible. Take care, and keep giving!
Laura Carr – Sex Pest
Hi, I'm Laura and I am one of the sex pests on the RAG committee. This basically means that I get to harass everyone for money (for charity- not sex) and encourage everyone to go out and get wasted at RAG's fantastic events. I am a REALMie from Nottinghamshire and absolutely love going out every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, where you will see me showing off my bum shuffle across the dance floor and generally getting PARA. I can't wait to get stuck into helping with RAG events this year- so watch out, you're all in for a good RAGGING!
