We are pleased to announce HASU has won one of the highly coveted StudentCrowd University Awards 2021.
Based on 100 percent student reviews, Harper Adams ranked 15 out of the top 20 Universities for Clubs and Societies! This top 20 finish follows the overall victory by HAU for University of the year!
HASU sports clubs and societies have the largest number of student memberships at Harper Adams University and provide a wide range of opportunities for you to get involved. Clubs & Societies are the heart of your university experience and we currently support, develop and administer 15 sports clubs and 13 societies with a membership of between 1,000-1,200.
The 11 Student Crowd University Awards categories were drawn from 19,323 university reviews completed by students studying at institutions across the UK. As a consequence of the way coronavirus has affected the university experience for students across the country, the results, this year, have been determined from reviews posted over the two-year period from July 2019 to July 2021.
Student Crowd stated: “This award is testament to the hard work your team has put into creating a great experience for your students even though they’ve not necessarily been able to enjoy it in the way you’d hoped!”
SU President, Emily Brown added: "It was brilliant to find out that we had finished in the top 20 for clubs and societies. Even though we are a small uni, we really care about the experience at Harper. We want to offer the best chance for students to let their hair down and get involved with activities so they can have a break from their studies. Harper has the motto of 'work hard, play hard' and I do believe that the more students get stuck into their time at uni, the more they will get out of it. We have a wide range of offerings for students to suit different interests and we are always open to supporting those who want to set up new clubs and societies.
"It was also fantastic to hear that the University has claimed the top spot for the best uni. I look forward to representing all students over the next year and working with the uni to ensure the student voice is heard."
