Andy joined the team in 2013 and manages the student Clubs & Societies, as well as the Harper Adams SU Gym and its volunteer program. Andy’s work has been reflected in the What Uni Student Choice awards, with the Union being ranked in the Top Ten nationally for the quality of its clubs & societies, as well as the performance of the Union as a whole. Andy provides training for all Club & Society Execs - the students who lead each group - and hosts the annual Dragons Den funding event as well as managing all BUCS Sports Fixtures and organising fitness classes.
Andy also represents the Union at BUCS meetings and was elected for the role of Competitions Group Rep for the West Midlands for several years, representing a dozen Universities in the West Mids at BUCS HQ in London. Outside of work, Andy teaches ITF Taekwon-Do, holding a 5th Degree black belt. He also enjoys weightlifting, photography, and his two cats, as well as hard-core nerding out on Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2.
