Mental Health Awareness Week at Harper Adams University
11th-15th May
Join Harper Adams Students Union for a week of relaxed, welcoming activities designed to support your wellbeing, help you connect with others, and take a break from the pressures of uni life. Whether you want to get creative, enjoy a chat over a drink, or simply take a moment to reset there’s something for everyone.
What’s on:
Monday 11 May 10am-2pm
Craft-A-Thon Drop-In
Head to Faccenda (ground floor) and unwind with some easy, mindful crafting. Try your hand at origami, pom-poms, or friendship bracelets with simple step-by-step guides provided.
Tuesday 12 May 10am-2pm
Brew & Be Kind
Outside the Library, grab a free hot or cold drink and a biscuit, and share a kind or supportive message to brighten someone’s day.
Wednesday 13 May 11am-1pm
Taking Action Together Event
Join us at The Barn for our main wellbeing event of the week. Take part in a variety of activities including mindfulness freebies, craft sessions, clay modelling, a rowing challenge, sports activities, and access helpful wellbeing and HR resources. Brew & Be Kind with free drinks and biscuits.

Peaceful Pebbles
Slow things down at the Peace Garden with Chaplain Libby. Decorate a pebble in a calm, tranquil setting - Peace Garden (next to the pond, left of main staff car park) or join us in the HASU Extension if the weather isn’t on our side.
Friday 15 May From 12pm
Wear It Green Picnic
Bring your lunch and join us outside the Front of the Main Building for a relaxed picnic with staff and students. Don’t forget to wear green and be part of our group photo to show your support for mental health awareness.

Drop by Faccenda (ground floor) anytime to enjoy free fresh fruit, colouring activities, and puzzles perfect for a mindful break between lectures.
