HARPER ADAMS ECOLOGICAL SOCIETY
Harper Adams Ecological Society (EcoSoc) “…is a newly established student-run society that incorporates conservation, ecology and biology elements. We organise practical hands-on activities, exciting themed socials as well as academically driven events centered around flora, fauna and the biological sciences. Whether you’re interested in particular habitats, plants or animals, EcoSoc will ensure there is something for everyone!"
EcoSoc is a new society for students interested in life sciences and other related fields. However, students of all backgrounds are more than welcome! Whether you have experience in these elements or just a general interest in, we would be happy to have you as a member.
We aim to provide a variety of activities to build members skill set, inspire learning but also have fun! These will include regular socials, campus projects, trips, guest speakers, and inter-university competitions. There are also opportunities to make connections with external organisations, as well as meet other students with an enthusiasm for the natural world. Focus areas could include ornithology or woodland management to zoology and entomology..and much more!
