PERIOD POVERTY
My period poverty campaign is aiming to supply free period product baskets in as many female and disabled toilets on campus as possible. QR codes will be available for students to scan if the basket is empty to alert us so that we can refill them as needed as well as working closely with the Housekeeping Team to keep them restocked. I am in discussions with the Student Union, Student Services and Vice Chancellor about how we can put a sustainable plan in place so that students never have to worry about periods impacting their access to education on campus.
THE HARPER ADAMS COLLECTIVE
The Harper Adams Collective is a photography competition and exhibition that celebrates the community here at Harper Adams, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and sense of belonging on campus.
Open to all students and staff, the project aims to bring people together through visual storytelling and highlight the individuals who make Harper Adams such a special place.
Winners from each category will receive prizes, and the best photos will be displayed on campus as part of The Harper Adams Collective exhibition.
Entries will open to all current staff and students in January 2026.
You can submit one photograph per category
Submit your photographs on the Microsoft Form links above. Please ensure you use the correct form for your submission, as there are different forms for each category.
Keep an eye on social media channels for deadlines and updates.
THE GENDER EXPRESSION FUND
The Gender Expression Fund is finally up and running after two years of development. It is a fund to assist transgender students to overcome financial barriers to their social transition. The development of this fund puts us in line with most other UK universities, and we are proud to be involved in the gender-affirming support we can provide to transgender students.
