Department Reps

What is a Department Rep?

Department Reps are student leaders who champion the voice of their peers across the university. They support Course Reps by collecting and escalating unresolved or non-course-specific feedback to the appropriate channels, such as Heads of Department or at the Student Experience Group.

Department Reps ensure student concerns are heard and acted upon, maintaining clear communication between students, staff, and the Students' Union.

Each term, they compile feedback into a report to help close the feedback loop and improve the student experience.

Contact Your Department Rep

If you are a Course Rep and have student feedback that goes beyond your individual course—such as concerns about facilities, catering, or accommodation, you should contact your Department Rep.

Dep Reps are also the go-to point for unresolved course-specific issues that have not been resolved at Course Committee meetings.

If you're unsure where your feedback should go, your Department Rep can guide you.
