Welcome to HAU Horseball! You’re probably thinking what on earth is horseball? Well, it is a mixture of rugby and netball played on horseback, and it’s pretty damn fun.
No previous experience is needed, as long as you can comfortably walk and trot, we will teach you the rest!
You do not need your own horse, we ride on some lovely polo ponies, however if you wanted to bring your horse to try, that's fine we are inclusive to all riders and their trusty steeds 😊
We run training sessions every other Monday evening, which cost £40 to cover the horse hire and coaching fee. There’s no pressure to attend every training session, you can come as often or as little as you like!
We compete in the university league and have friendly competitions home and away, open to anyone and everyone! Competitions aren’t compulsory but they are super fun and always a good day out with the club😆
Our full membership costs £40 which gets you access to training, socials, competitions and any other events we put on throughout the year! The money goes towards arena hires, subsidising competition costs, and equipment.
We also offer a social membership for only £10, which gets you access to our weekly Wednesday socials and any other social events we put on!
We are friendly, inclusive, and fun club and we can’t wait to see you all soon!
