Welcome to the Harper Adams University Cheer Club!
Founded just two years ago, our Cheer Club has already enjoyed a hugely successful first and second season, building a strong, supportive and spirited team. We love welcoming new faces and showing that cheer is for everyone, no matter your background or skill level. Whether you’re a complete beginner or bursting with experience, you’ll find a place on our team. Joining us is about much more than learning routines – it’s about boosting your confidence, making amazing friends, and being part of something that will make your university experience unforgettable.
This year, our club will run two exciting teams: a Competition Team and a Performance Team. The Competition Team will be going head-to-head with other universities in the upcoming season, supported in part by an external cheer club to help us reach our full potential. Meanwhile, the Performance Team will be bringing the energy and spirit to HAU’s Wednesday fixture games, cheering on our athletes and putting on amazing sideline performances. Whether you want to compete, perform, or just get involved, there’s a place for you!
Our socials take place every Wednesday, where we team up with the Dance Society to create one big, fun social group and get ready for a night at the SU! It’s the perfect chance to relax, meet new people, and enjoy student life together. Whether you’re a cheerleader, dancer, or just looking for a friendly crowd to hang out with, everyone is welcome – it’s all about making memories and friendships that last. Memberships:
Competition Team Membership (£150):
Includes: Insurance, external venue costs, cost of training, cost of music and administration fees for competitions + at least one competition entry.
Does not Include: Uniform costs.
Performance Team Membership (£50):
Includes: Insurance, cost of training, cost of music, bows.
Does not Include: Uniform cost.
Social Only Membership (£30):
Includes: Insurance and accessories.
