THE HARPER ADAMS COLLECTIVE

The Harper Adams Collective is a photography competition and exhibition that celebrates the community here at Harper Adams, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and sense of belonging on campus.

Open to all students and staff, the project aims to bring people together through visual storytelling and highlight the individuals who make Harper Adams such a special place.

Winners from each category will receive prizes, and the best photos will be displayed on campus as part of The Harper Adams Collective exhibition.

Categories

AgriCulture

Celebrating the foundation of agriculture at Harper Adams - our shared roots in land, livestock and learning. This category showcases the people behind agriculture in all its forms, from the field to the lab, and honours the hands, minds, and communities that keep our food systems thriving.

Practice makes perfect

For moments that capture compassion in practice. Whether it’s caring for animals, working together in clinical teams, or supporting one another through study and skill, this category highlights the dedication and teamwork at the core of veterinary life at Harper Adams.

Under Construction

Engineering is innovation in motion. This category celebrates the creativity, curiosity and collaboration that go into problem-solving, design and discovery - from workshops to field trials and everything in between.

Flavours of Harper

From farm to fork, this category explores the world of the individuals behind food innovation and enjoyment. Whether experimenting in the lab, cooking up something brilliant or capturing the social side of food, we want to see the flavour of Harper life through your lens.

In Good Company

This category celebrates the bonds that make Harper Adams feel like home - between people, pets and every companion who brings comfort to our days. Submissions should display friendship, loyalty and connection in all of its forms.

The Inside Scoop

A space for staff to share their perspective on life at Harper Adams University – the people, the work and the stories that often go unseen. Whether serious, light-hearted, or reflective, this category provides our staff community with a platform to shine.

Strength in Diversity

Celebrating diversity, individuality and inclusion across campus. This category welcomes entries that champion underrepresented voices and stories, showcasing the beauty of difference and the power of belonging within our community.

Home and Away

Whether it’s your roots, your journey or the people who make you feel grounded, this is a space for stories of identity outside of Harper Adams University and a celebration of your background.

Open Category

For every story that doesn’t fit a singular box. The open category welcomes creative interpretations of what it means to be a part of the Harper Adams community, expressing connection, culture and community in unique ways.
