About me-

Hello, I'm a third-year Environmental Land Management student from an agricultural background, so Harper has always felt like the perfect fit for me. Outside of my studies, I play for the Harper Adams football team and enjoy being an active part of student life. I'm passionate about bringing students together, improving the Harper experience, and making sure every student's voice is heard.

Why did I run for President?

I decided to run for Students' Union President because I want to make a real difference to the student experience at Harper Adams. As someone who is actively involved in university life, I understand the importance of having great facilities, opportunities, and a strong sense of community. I'm passionate about improving our sports facilities, enhancing student life through more events and activities, and ensuring every student feels heard and represented. My goal is to create a more enjoyable and rewarding university experience for everyone.

Why I love Harper-

What I love most about Harper Adams is the incredible sense of community and belonging. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by both students and staff, and it's something that makes Harper truly special. We're a close-knit university where people genuinely look out for one another, and friendships last well beyond graduation. At Harper, we do things differently and that's one of our greatest strengths. Our hands-on approach, strong industry links, and unique campus culture create an experience unlike any other, making Harper a place where students can thrive both personally and professionally.

My advice to new students-

My biggest piece of advice to anyone starting at Harper is to say yes and get involved from day one. Join a club or society, go to events, introduce yourself to new people, and don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. The friendships you make in those first few weeks can last a lifetime. Harper has such a welcoming and supportive community, so make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. The more you put into your university experience, the more you'll get out of it, both personally and professionally.

Talk to me about-

As SU President, my door is always open. Whether you have an idea to improve campus, a concern about your university experience, or simply want to have a chat, I'm always happy to listen. No issue is too big or too small, I'm here to represent every student and make sure your voice is heard. I want to work with students to make Harper Adams the best it can be, so if there's something on your mind, don't hesitate to come and speak to me. Your feedback, ideas, and experiences matter, and together we can make a real difference.

Priorities

As SU President, my priorities are focused on making a positive and lasting difference to the student experience at Harper Adams. I want to champion student voice, ensuring every student feels listened to and has the opportunity to shape decisions that affect university life. I'm also committed to not only improving our existing sports facilities but pushing to expand them, creating more opportunities for students of all abilities to get involved in sport and stay active. Alongside this, I want to deliver a wide range of inclusive events and experiences that everyone can enjoy, helping to bring our community together and ensuring there's something for every student, whether you're living on campus, commuting, or on placement. My aim is to make Harper Adams an even better place to study, socialise, and succeed.
