This issue was raised by the Department Reps at the Student Experience group based on feedback they received from Course Reps. The discussion points were as follows: • Laundry services are provided by Circuit. Faults should be reported directly to Circuit or via Student Services. • The number of machines is calculated by Circuit using a standard formula. • The campus app shows real-time availability of washers and dryers.

The following actions were taken by the Student Services team at the Student Experience Group. ACTION: Student Services to invite Circuit to review and recalculate machine requirements on campus. ACTION: Student Services to communicate that all machines are available for use by any student and to highlight peak usage times.

Discussed number of machines on campus and that student feedback has suggested there isn't enough. The Circuit Account Manager has looked at the figures and agrees that there is potential for us to have a few more machines on site - Another meeting is due to take place after the Easter Break for Circuit and Estates to survey the laundry rooms and establish the opportunity to upgrade the facilities/machine numbers.
