Course Reps have brough forward concerns that campus does not have sufficient electrical outlets for all students, leading to student laptops running out of energy mid-lecture.

Your Department Reps have brought this concern forward at the Student Experience Group. The facilities team informed them that a survey of sockets in teaching spaces was done on 10 July 2024 and where possible additional sockets were fitted.

At the Student Experience Group it was recognised that it is an ongoing challenge to provide sufficient charging outlets in all areas of campus with the increase in use of equipment requiring charging.
