LAND-BASED SKILLS PROGRAMME

Harper Adams University offer a range of subsidised land-based skills courses to students. 

Courses include:

• Tractor Driving                                          

• Fork Lift Truck Operations/Telehandler

• Transport of Animals by Road (Short Journey)

• Chainsaw: Cross-cutting & Maintenance, Felling >380mm

• Safe Use of Pesticides: PA1, PA2, PA4s & PA6

• First Aid at Work (TOHS)

• Safe Operation of ATV’s

• Coppice Restoration

• Trailer Training (must have both parts of driving licence to book)

• Fencing

• Brushcutter Operations

• Charcoal Making

• Interherd+: Milk recording software

• Stockmanship

THERE ARE STILL PLACES AVAILABLE ON ALL COURSES, PLEASE SEE ANDREA OR KATHY IN THE PLACEMENT OFFICE, TOP FLOOR FACCENDA TO BOOK A PLACE.    

Pre-placement students have priority booking on one course until 11^th October. 

From 14^th October all students may book on one course. 

From 21^st October all students may book on additional courses.
