The Student union organises every Wednesday night in the bar with each week having a different theme. By paying your SU fees it entitles you to free entry into the bar and reduced rates on events such as Christmas ball and summer ball. Money is allocated to bring in big name acts such as Danny Howard, Lethal Bizzle and everyone's favourite, the Wurzels. In addition to events and sports your student union fees aid the financing of Harper Forum which brings in various guest speakers from a number of industries.
Your Student union fees go towards the funding of clubs and societies. This allows for high quality coaches, new kit and the maintenance of equipment. Together this allows all our sports teams to participate in regular BUCS fixtures and arrange Agri blocks event with other universities through out the year such as Newcastle and Reading. In the past the student union has been able to help improve the facilities of the university for example the recent installation of a free cash machine on campus, the extension to the student union bar in order to increase the capacity of people able to attend events held at Harper Adams. As a student union we strive to achieve the continuous improvements to benefit student life at Harper Adams.
