Harper Community Officer

As a Community Officer, my role is to help make sure the voices of Harper Adams 
students are heard, valued and represented to create a welcoming and inclusive 
environment for everyone. I aim to work collaboratively with the HASU Officers 
and members of the university to bring students together through supporting the 
works of clubs and societies, events and campaigns etc to ensure that every 
member of the Harper Adams Community feels supported and represented. 

Throughout my first year at Harper Adams University and this academic year 
(2026/27) I have been a part of the Rallying the Wright Way team in which has 
helped alongside my engineering studies to gain hands on experience and work in 
a professional standard alongside other Harper Adams students in different year 
groups. In addition, I have took part in competitions in the UK with the Harper 
Adams Cheer Team which has allowed me to make great memories during my first 
year whilst making friends outside of my course as well. 

The advice I would give to new/ all Harper Adams students is to make the most of 
your time here at this University, as there is endless opportunities to involve 
yourself in our uni community through clubs, sports etc as well as gaining the 
most experience possible to make you one step closer to your future goals. My 
advice to new students is that it is ok to feel nervous, everyone is in the same 
boat!

 

I want to be someone that every student feels comfortable approaching, therefore
whether you are a new student feeling nervous about starting university, looking
to get involved in clubs, societies or sports, have an idea for an event or simply just
want to meet new people and make the most of your time at Harper Adams come
and talk to me!
